ABOUT ABOUT

Hello!

We are sharing this information with you in hopes that you will support a community service project to honor
Hospice nurses and staff. As part of a community service project for Leadership Westerville, we are asking members of the community to join in our efforts.

Our main focus is raising awareness for Hospice and honoring the nurses and staff who make a very difficult journey or families as peaceful as possible. June is Hospice Awareness Month and we are asking for donations to make the following possible:

• Purchasing a Hospice Awareness Month banner to hang across State Street in Uptown Westerville.
This banner will be hung for one week in June. We hope to hang this banner annually.

• Honoring the nurses and staff with an appreciation luncheon and spa baskets at the Westerville
Hospice Center.

• Our Leadership Westerville team will help manage a Central Ohio Hospice awareness booth at the
4th Friday event in Uptown Westerville in June.

Anyone that has had the painful experience of seeking comfort for a loved one in his/her last days can appreciate the work of a Hospice nurse. Their compassion and patience do not waiver. Their comfort to the family is immeasurable. Join us in recognizing and empowering this profession.

Thank you for your consideration and support!

Sincerely,
Westerville Leadership Class of 2013
